Your information will post confidentially if you would like to be contacted to discuss the home business opportunity. This can be for about starting up your own candle making business from home, or the residual income model showing how to use video email to enhance your existing markeing efforts.
My goal is to continue to help people find the niche they are comfortable in, and help them to obtain financial freedom. We are currently screening serious inquiries.
Thanksgiving Soy Pillar Candle Centerpiece
Making A Thanksgiving Soy Pillar Candle Centerpiece is Fun!
For the purpose of this demonstration, I will post my YouTube video showing how to make a thanksgiving centerpiece with a scented soy wax pillar candle.
When you make your own homemade candles you will want to use them everywhere. Combining candles, fall flowers, colors, scents and thanksgiving craft ideas makes for great family fun. Because of it’s simplicity, this could be used as a kids craft for thanksgiving.
Do it yourself centerpieces are fun to make, and they are a wonderful way to incorporate the colors of thanksgiving into coffee and dining room table decorations.
I bought a glass pedestal candle holder, a fall holiday wreath, pine cones and some green colored ribbon, which I made into bows. You can use store bought materials for the sake of convenience. But hopefully you are in a part of the country where you can find lots of beautiful natural materials outdoors. As a kid, we went out in the woods, and picked Bittersweet in the wild. It would have been beautiful wrapped around a candle base like this.
First I placed the candle holder upon a platter, so I could move it around with ease. On the platter, I centered the pedestal stand. Inside the glass candle holder I placed a 7″ soy pillar candle made from one of my holiday scented candle recipes, made from a blend of cinnamon and cranberry essential oils. Around the base I wrapped a fall wreath.
If you are using wild craft items, have floral wire and wire cutters to bind the stems, and hold them in the shape you desire. Embellish the branches with pine cones, and other items of your liking. I then place green bows around the centerpiece just to add a bit more festive look to it.
Don’t forget, you want to be careful examine your final arrangement so the decorations and fall flowers used cannot accidentally come into contact with the burning candle wax. Always keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets for the sake of safety.
Enjoy the holiday season and thanks for stopping by.

Delicious Richly Scented Soy Candles Delight All!
Scented Soy Candle Making Together Is a Holiday Delight!
Have fun at Christmas as a family!
Everybody loves rich, aromatic, delicously scented soy candles. A few things will be important for you understand before you begin attempting to start making soy candles for your home based candle business, personal hobby, or just for gifts. However, there is an art to the process, and the uneducated novice can easiliy make “expensive” mistakes. Making errors in judgment can be costly, even dangerous because you may waste the soy wax, essential oil or fragrance oils, even candle wicks, or possibly even cause a fire from improper wicking.
You need to decide before jumping into any project, exactly what you want to make. Once you have made that decision, then you need to purchase the correct wicks for your particular soy candle wax, and even candle type you intend to make. Pillars, tea lights, votive candles will all need different sizes and lengths. How much fragrance or essential oil will your particular candle wax will hold. What’s to much, what’s too little? Third, but equally important, is the type of wax you are purchasing right for the candle you desire to make?
When mixing soy candle waxes with fragrance or essential oils there are known techniques that need to be followed or problems can occur. Take a look at some of the problems I have seen frequently occuring, which I have posted on my FAQ page.
Plus everyone wants the most fragrant candes possible. So learn how to do it right, keep records of what you do, how you do it. (My book provides a test record sheet) Overtime, you will save yourself many repeats of failures, and the abiltiy to reproduce successes. When you find that “one” candle idea that gives you your own Unique Selling Proposition, don’t find out to late, you don’t remember what you did.
Have fun, and don’t forget how important candle safety is. Read the candle safety articles so you are informed, and follow all safety guidelines outlined in my books. Happy Mothers Day To All You Beautiful Ladies!
Happy Mother’s Day!
This post is for all the beautiful ladies who are so loved by their spouses, family, friends, and loved ones! I walked outside, and found these Irises had survived yesterday’s Las Vegas 95 degree heat, so I decided I really wanted to share them with you.
That’s the nice thing about having a blog on my website. I can do this.
I decided to share my flowers with you just so I could wish all of you.. “Happy Mother’s Day!”
My mother’s favorite color was this shade of purple. I am rather fond of it now myself, thanks to her.
These salt lamp tea-light candle holders are my favorite gifts to give because the salt lamps give off the smell of freshness into the air when soy tea light candles are burned inside them, causing them to warm up. The first time I burned them on was on this counter top. Good thing, there was such a beautiful place mat under them because I was shocked to find it covered with moisture. Something in the ion process makes them attract water.
I have a couple of articles about the Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamps for candles if you are interested in reading more.
(Place mat made by my friends mother. Thank you!)
In loving memory of the special ladies in my life. My Grandmother’s Olive and Helen, Grandma Creviston, my Mom Betty, Mother-In-Law Arlene, and Aunt Loraine. Love all of you!!
Ditto from all the bros!
Love you Jennifer, Christina, Teri, Beth, Sheryl, Sunny, and Karen!
I am so grateful, there aren’t enough words. Thanks for blessing my life, and teaching me so much about love, kindness, flowers, and beauty just to name a few things. And our national parks…………… mom and dad.
The rest of you special ladies I will be calling & you know who you are. Love you too!
Mother’s Day Soy Candle Gift Ideas
How to Make Your Mother A Special Soy Candle Gift For Mothers’ Day
Tomorrow is Mother’s Day so what better way to say I love you than to make her a special Mother’s Day candle?
What’s her favorite scent, her special color? Will you want to make some rose scented soy candles to go with a bouquet of roses you plan to give her? Or how about some floating candles? I have some heart-shaped and rose shaped candle molds that make very nice floating candles for bathtubs, or to float in the punch bowl.
Or how about making mom a special personalized candle?
Here’s just one idea that I think that would be great even for smaller children to make a unique candle decoration to give their mother on her day. And what fun you can have making them together! (Yes, adult supervision is recommended for the little kids!)
Here’s a nice touch, fill flower vases with fresh flowers or fruit’s and set a floating candle on top to complete the decoration.
Use candles with colors that complement your fruit or flower color scheme is a nice way to tie it all together.
The instructions are simple. Here’s what you will need:
A word of caution, don’t use just any candle wax if you intend to float your candle in water with anything edible, or that you will drink. I wouldn’t want paraffin wax anywhere near my food or liquid refreshments, because it’s made from petroleum-based products. Also when making your own floating soy candles, I would be very selective of the color used, and the fragrance in any floating candle I use around any liquid that might later be consumed.

Teacup Scented Soy Wax Candles
Soy Wax Candles In Teacups Another Great Soy Candle Gift Idea
Many ”beautiful” Teacups and Saucers can be found in thrift stores. They make a really beautiful addition to any product line you might be trying to sell, or just to use as a great gift for birthdays, holidays, or perhaps a special occasion.
Here are items you will need to make Teacup Candles:
You Will Need The Following:
1. Teacups (the saucer is optional) I found these at the local Salvation Army Thrift Store.
2. Soy Candle Container Wax (I buy mine from Candlewic.)
3. Candle Wick (Make sure the wick will be a minimum of 1″ taller than the top of the teacup)
4. Candle dye and Candle Scent (optional)
5. Stacking Pour Pots (Make a double boiler)
6. Thermometer
7. Hot Glue Gun
Teacup Soy Candle Directions:
1. First wash saucer and teacup, and wipe them completely dry.
(You don’t want water in the wax, or water spots on your finished teacup or saucer.)
2. Select a candle wick, adhere it to the bottom center of the teacup using your hot glue gun. (I use a the hollowed out portion of a bic pen, run my candlewick into it, because it makes it easier to press the wick in place exactly where i want it.)
3. Center your candle wick and hold it in place on the top of the candle container. (I use the glue to hold the wick on the dowel, and a bit on the side of the container to hold the dowel centered while I am making the candle).
4. Add wax into your double boiler, melt it, and add dye and fragrance following a soy candle recipe, or manufacture’s directions.
5. Pour melted wax into your teacup container.
6. Let candle cure for a minimum of 24-48 hours before lighting.
7. Trim candle wick to 1/4 inch before lighting it.
To give you a better idea on how inexpensive it was for me to buy two sets of teacups, I bought two separate cups and saucers for only $2.00. When I am making these candles at home, I will make up more than one type of candle in different containers to maximize my time. Because they are unique, and can be gift wrapped very nicely, these will quickly sell for a nice little profit.
